A puppy's life

Ah, the puppy life
playing and sleeping
eating and drinking
running after the other dogs
little paws soft on the floor
every feature smaller
each day growing...

Weekends are just too short.

We watched "The Book of Daniel" on Friday night. I didn't think I'd care for it, but I like it! I always find it interesting when certain groups decide that a movie or a book or a show is "bad" when they've never watched it or read it. I don't know what I was expecting from "The Book of Daniel" but it was funny and touching. Adult in its themes (I wouldn't recommend it to children, but I wouldn't censor it from the entire population. People can make up their own minds about what they want to watch.

We finally finished up watching "Miracles" on DVD. It's a bummer the show ended and an even bigger bummer that certain parts of the story were not resolved. Ah well, at least we got to watch the unaired eps. Next up, I want to finish "Firefly!" :)

I spend a bit of the weekend doing screencaps of NCIS and Las Vegas episodes with William Gregory Lee. Sample anyone?

From NCIS ep "Probie"

From Las Vegas ep "Bait and Switch"

I had fun with those. ;)

ETA: Oops, here are the links to the galleries, in case anyone wants to see:

Have I mentioned that Harry Connick Jr is one of my favorites? Well, until tonight I'd never seen HOPE FLOATS. How could that be? LOL! Finally saw it tonight. Good movie. Kinda sad in parts, eh? Nice ending. :) Ahhh, Harry...

And that's been my weekend. Not too exciting, just as I like it. LOL!

ETA 2: I forgot to mention that I cancelled my hotel reservations for next weekend. BUMMER!!! But all is not lost. I've got an interview and test on Saturday morning. Ye gods!
