handwritten thoughts about a song

I know I shouldn’t always look to tomorrow but tomorrow is FRIDAY aka prelude to the three day weekend. GLORIOUS! Maybe I’ll get off my lazy butt and actually finish my latest Listworthy before I forget I’m actually doing it. LOL

Oh, so I wrote that little bit about “April Rider” during my lunch break at work. I like to practice my cursive and why not write about the song currently blaring in my ears? Yes, I was listening to “April Rider” while I was writing. I LOVE THAT SONG. It’s seeped into my soul.

I posted a prettied version of that photo above to my Twitter. A bit later, I got notification of this:

The little things make me smile. And I know it’s a little thing, a fleeting thing, but it’s a connection of sorts, isn’t it? It’s knowing that for one brief moment, a thought of mine touched someone else. Maybe it brought a smile or a little laugh or just a touch of sweetness. Maybe it wasn’t even a thought, maybe it was just a compulsion to acknowledge without any deeper meaning. It doesn’t matter. Whatever it is, it’s enough.
