will I remember
the rush of this sweet longing
after you have gone
At the beginning of the day yesterday, I thought, “Wow, it’s already Wednesday.” Then in the middle of the day, I thought, “Damn, it’s only Wednesday.”
We had cake yesterday at work for the birthday of one of the directors. I love cake breaks.
Didn’t watch more than a couple of minutes of the World Series but I will say GOOD FOR BARRY ZITO! I’ve always liked him (see my LJ icon) and had a special place in my fangirl heart for him, especially when he worked with one of my fellas on a tv show (an ep of JAG with Greg Lee). So I do feel the weight of Zito 1) pitching the first game of the World Series, 2) getting an RBI of all things (he always looks awkward at the plate to me), and 3) winning game one of the World Series. Amazing and wonderful and I’m so happy for him. He got a lot of criticism when he made the move to the SF Giants and his work seemed to suffer a lot but this season he apparently showed his winning ways. I wonder if getting married got him focused on his game.
