Apparently our weekend schedule can be altered at the whim of someone who lives nearly two hours away from us. It doesn’t matter if we have plans, it doesn’t matter that we have our own lives– we must drop whatever it is and do this person’s bidding. This wanton disregard, nay DISRESPECT of our time and plans is growing tiresome. I’m sick of it. And it’s not even just about the inconvenience but it’s the expectation that we will do whatever is asked that bothers me.

I could say so much more. And maybe I will after I gather my thoughts in a more coherent manner.
