fighting for release
why hold on
to broken dreams
find some peace
the shattered fragments
cut so deep
can't you see
the slow and steady creep
let the tears fall
then turn away
leave the sorrow
find your way...
From the Cardinals notes:
DETROIT -- An MRI revealed that Cardinals left-hander Mark Mulder hasrotator cuff inflammation and irritation in his left shoulder, according to The Associated Press.
Mulder was put on the 15-day disabled list Thursday because of ashoulder strain after giving up nine runs in 2 1/3 innings against theChicago White Sox on Monday night.
"When you throw that bull I was throwing up there, it's not going to get it done," Mulder said after the poor outing.
Mulder is 6-5 this season -- after starting 5-1 -- with a 6.09 ERA. Hewas 16-8 last season, his first in St. Louis after pitching fiveseasons for Oakland. The 28-year-old Mulder has a career record of103-55 with a 4.03 ERA.
The Cardinals expect that Mulder, who had inexplicablystruggled recently, will be on the disabled list until after theAll-Star break. There is no timetable for his return, but he will bere-examined in seven to 10 days. Any rehab would take place in St.Louis with team personnel, manager Tony La Russa said.
I hope he comes back soon! I don't like watching baseball knowing he's not out there. :(
Let's see, the A's lost yesterday, but won today. Woohoo! They should have won yesterday but freakin' Huston Street blew it. Ugh! I'll forgive him when he gets his next save. :P
And the All Blacks won yesterday! I watched that one, of course. Bless DirecTV! :D Dan Carter missed three penalty goal attempts, but the All Blacks managed all right against the Argentinians. :) Rugby is so fun to watch. :D
On an interesting sidenote, the All Blacks website is blocked at work. I wonder why that is. Hmmm. What if I wanted to use one of the pictures from the site as a wallpaper? Bah!
Google Earth is addictive.
I still feel crappy, but I did sleep a lot today. Hopefully it's a quick week this week. :)
