closer to Friday
Journey well into the next, Donna Summer. Your songs remind me of younger days and you will always have a place in my musical memory...

poem #1
my muse eludes me
laughing somewhere out of reach
leaving me adrift

poem #2
is it time to say goodbye
smile and part ways
let the good memories linger
let go of the bad ones
is it time to say goodbye
brush away the tears
be glad for the days once ago
when love whispered in each embrace
is it time to say goodbye
take one last breath
then forge on ahead
follow another path

Tom Hardy in LAWLESS

Even though Tom Hardy's next movie is THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, I'm actually looking forward to LAWLESS. Would I want to watch the movie if he wasn't in it? A fair question. ;)

I did the following screencaps on my iPhone. How far has technology come? LOL

Amazing screen caps!

I'm way more interested in Lawless than Dark Knight. Actually, I suspect I'm not going to see TDKR in the theatre. Hubby isn't remotely interested and I think I can wait. We'll see what kind of reviews Tom gets once it's out there for all to see and then I guess I'll decide.

I was so saddened to hear about Donna Summer. Another icon from my youth gone too soon :(

Thanks! Oh how I love technology. I can't believe I did that on my phone. LOL~

I'm more excited about Lawless because we'll get to actually SEE his face. LOL! I want to see TDKR because at least we'll see his eyes. And his body? ;) But yes, more excited about Laweless.

I randomly hear Donna Summer songs in my head now. "Last Dance" is in there now. Alas!

And Robin Gibb died today ::sniff:: Not nearly the shock of Ms. Summers' passing but yet another icon from my youth.

Just read a great review of Lawless from Cannes. August isn't going to come soon enough!!!

So sad. ::sigh::

I want to see Lawless NOW. I think I want to read the book too. LOL

I want to see Lawless now too. How dare they make us wait!

I've heard over all it's getting mixed reviews :( I so hope audiences want to go see it and enjoy it. I know Dark Knight is an 'adult' action movie but I'm hoping by the time Lawless comes out, grownups will be craving something like Lawless :)

I haven't really read any of the reviews. I've only read that he stands out amongst the cast. But of course, right? ;)

I'm going to watch it when it comes out. It looks interesting to me but I know that he's the big draw for me. If he wasn't in it, I'm sure I wouldn't be half as interested. ;)

I think I would've watched Lawless without Tom as the draw. It has just enough of a western flavor for me to be interested (though I could do without the period haircuts LOL). I wouldn't have gone to a movie theatre though, likely watched it pay-per-view on demand on my TV. With Tom though... I'll be dragging hubby along to the movies for it. Definitely! :)

I might have watched Lawless with Tom on the movie channels but because he's in it, I'm going to the theatre. Along with Ryan Gosling and Karl Urban, I am willing to pay money to see Tom Hardy on the big screen. He should be flattered. LOL!

I just want to hear Tom Hardy do his gruffy, American accent. ;)
