The restaurant used to be a Baker's Square and is now a Shari's. The pie wasn't as good as Baker's Square French Silk. Oh well.

Her birthday is in a couple of weeks, but since it's October, why not do a birthday/Oktoberfest celebration? lol!

Twas a cooler day, especially in the shade. Why can't the days always be this way?

I am all set for the reunion tomorrow night. I bought my shoes after work today. I will be comfortable in mostly black, which is fine with me. And I've decided to just take my little camera with me, along with an extra battery, of course.

We went to Golden Dragon Buffet for dinner. Mmmmm! I want to go there when I'm feeling better. This cold or whatever is messing with my taste buds or something.

Her birthday isn't until next week, but her party was on Saturday. She's one! I can't believe it's been almost a year. Yowsa!

We're going to the A's game on Saturday night! Rickey Henderson's jersey number is getting retired. And if we're there early enough, I do believe there's a giveaway. YAH! I hope it's chilly enough for me to wear my big A's jacket. I miss the colder weather. It's freakin' too warm out our way. Bah!

I think I forgot to mention our dinner at The Carvery last night! ( mmm, harry's hofbrau! )

It's deceiving to say "first day" when I'm not sure we're going the rest of the weekend. lol!

Our 4th of July was lovely! ( family stuff )

the sun shines bright

And this is a good thing. lol!

My sister is on her way to CA as I write. Just about an hour or so before she lands. So exciting! I'll get to see her pregnant belly. Awwww! :D
