So this happened today. A shooting at one of the high schools (thankfully not in *our* district) but freakin' disturbing nonetheless. The student shot is expected to survive but can i just say WHAT THE HELL IS GOING IN THIS WORLD?! I know it can happen anywhere, but who do these people think they are shooting at high school students?! Of course Antioch doesn't need more bad press, but there it is...

Sometimes when I listen to that first song of Carlos Ponce, I remember how much I love Latin pop music. And then I want to listen to some Ricky Martin too. lol! Has anyone seen the promos for Couples Retreat? Carlos is in it. At first I didn't think it was him because everything but his face threw me off. lol! I might have to watch that movie. :P

I'm trying to get my sister to send me at least one picture a day of Sydnee. This one is my favorite of the day. Isn't she just adorable?! I've made the picture my Facebook profile pic because it's just too adorable!

I'm missing the feeling of seeing all my old classmates. I had fun that night. I think what has really impressed me about my fellow '89ers is that most of us (and yes, I'll include myself) have not lost that light in our eyes. Maybe it was just being together again, but there was a lot of laughter in the air. Perhaps I'm just a romantic, but I think the feelings of hope and joy are what made the night so enjoyable. And who doesn't want to keep holding on to that? :)

Have I thrown over Jensen Ackles as the featured face of Shady Satin? Maybe I'm just giving him a break.

Omigosh, it's been HOT these past few days. If I'm to believe the forecast, it should be a bit cooler today except what's really the difference between 107 degrees and 99 degrees?

We watched Virtuality yesterday. Tis a shame that it's not going to be an actual tv show because I was really digging it. Stupid network bastards.

I've gone through my contact list in my Gmail account and I've cleaned it up. I now sync my Gmail contacts with my iPhone and works like a dream! Oh, and it's free, so definitely no complaints. Now the only reason to connect my iPhone to my computer is to update my playlists and apps. Nice! Don't you just love technology? ;)
