destiny turned its back
faith no longer guides me
the path obliterated

each breath a travesty
each beat a hollow whisper
life bleeding from my heart

my soul lost in chaos
my dreams meaningless
existence worthless in emptiness

I had payroll to do today. I finished quicker than I usually do AND the postage machine (I use it to seal the envelopes) DID NOT jam. I just realized that this moment. LOL! So it was a good day of folding paychecks and stuffing envelopes. :)
