skittering and flittering

this restless feeling
skittering and flittering
off course and aimless

Stayed home from work today. Got up at my usual time, went through my routine, was halfway done with my hair when I realized I was clammy and achy and kinda feverish. Boooooo!

And the perfect segue to…

Under the Dome – I still think Junior is NUTS but they’ve actually done a decent job chipping off the nutty parts to make him perhaps a bit less detestable but then another character is introduced who’s even less sympathetic? Not really digging this delayed intro of Natalie Zea’s character and not liking her character at all! As if this poor town isn’t having enough trouble they have to introduce a slimy character with dirt on the main men? Annoying! And yet I keep watching!

I love Natalie Zea but bringing her in last week was so wrong. Talk about contrived! I haven't watched last night's ep yet so maybe she's wearing the same wardrobe but all I could think of was how convenient that she found an abandonned place that housed a perfect size 2 with immaculate clothing for her to borrow LOL.

Never mind that she just so happens to know Barbie and Big Jim. I don't really know why I'm still watching - the hubs gave up on it weeks ago. Okay, I know why I'm watching. Mike Vogel, that's why. Still, how did we get this soap opera out of something that could have been so much *more*?

This week's episode of Under the Dome explains Natalie Zea's character a bit but I agree with her intro being contrived. There is already enough going on with the townspeople. It's so unnecessary to bring in her character! And yes, knowing Barbie and Big Jim? Big Jim, I could see but Barbie too? ::eye roll::

Mike Vogel is the saving grace of the show. LOVE his character and his complexities. I also like the kids (oddly enough!).

Only three more episodes left! Yah! LOL
