it would be easy

it would be easy
pretending I don’t really
care if you say yes

I hope I don’t sputter towards the end with this story I’m doing for National Novel Writing Month. I’ve been on a tear but I worry that I’ll run out of plot. Is that possible? Heck yes!

My progress so far:

Good for you! I finally finished my novel sized fic this week. It took me over a year (with some loooooong breaks in the middle) and I'm so relieved! I need to write something smaller next though. Something that will give me a sense of completion in a relatively short period of time ;)

Thanks! :)

So are you going to post your fic somewhere? Or is it already posted? It must feel so good to have it finished!

I've been posting chapters about twice/month since August, giving my beta reader about 2 weeks to go over them before I upload. I've only been posting it to fanfiction.net since it was a good place for me to set up a category for the show (the most likely place people would go looking for an old lesser known series). I feel like a proud mama... prior to me setting up the category over there about 15 months ago, there were only 3 fics out there on the web that I could ever find. Since setting up the category, we have 39 stories now.

When I'm done posting it there in another few months (assuming I maintain the same pace), I'll post a link to it from my lj. It's so big, I'll be too lazy to post it from scratch there too ;)

If you already want to check out it (and don't at all feel obliged), here's the link:

Famliliarity with the show is a plus but, with my preamble and the exposition within the story, I don't think it's enitrely necessary for someone to enjoy it.
