letting chaos swirl around

If this keeps up, I won’t need to turn on my computer in the evenings. This Nexus 7 is pretty cool. I need to start writing my review. I haven’t really found anything that annoys me. It works as it should. And it’s so pretty!

I'll think of a million questions to ask you because I'm sort of in the market for a tablet. Hehe!

1.) How does it compare to the iPad?
2.) What were the deciding factors into making the purchase?
3.) How is the battery life?
4.) How does the video chat compare to FaceTime?
5.) Is it a heavy tablet?

I think most of my questions fall under the first question lol!

I think my answers will be found in the review I'm writing. I just need to finish it. Hopefully today. But short version:

1) It's a different beast from the iPad. Taking away the ecosystem of each, I'd say they're equally fantastic. I think it would be fairer to compare the Nexus 7 to the Kindle Fire because of size and function. In that case, I'd give it to the Nexus 7.

2) Price and OS were our deciding factors for sure. We had the Kindle Fire and didn't like it so much. We had the iPad 2 (which is AWESOME) as well.

3) Battery life is very good! It can pretty much last a whole waking day but I have run it down by playing games on it. I'm the kind that charges every night so if I don't have to charge in the middle of the day, then I think it's stellar. ;)

4) I've only tested the video chat with myself (using GTalk) and it looks cool but haven't tried any video chatting with others. :)

5) The tablet is not heavy. It's comfortable in hand. :)

At this point, I'd definitely recommend it.
